FreshProof Terms of Service

These terms govern use of FreshProof at freshproof.io, operated by Corvo Labs. By using FreshProof, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Questions, billing concerns, and requests to close your account can be sent to info@corvolabs.com.

The service and your account

FreshProof uses AI and retrieved sources to help writers and editors assess factual claims. You need an account and a verified email address to submit articles and access your saved reports. Keep your account secure and provide accurate account information.

Submit only content you have the right to use and authorize us and our service providers to process. Do not use FreshProof unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, bypass payment or access controls, interfere with the service, or submit malicious material.

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You authorize us and our providers to process, store, and display it as needed to provide the service, save your reports, and carry out sharing you request. Third-party sources remain subject to their owners’ rights; a source appearing in a report does not grant a license to republish it.

Review findings before relying on them

AI can miss claims, misread evidence, use incomplete or outdated sources, and produce incorrect findings or suggested wording. A supported finding is not a guarantee of accuracy; an unverified finding does not establish that a claim is false. Review the linked sources and use your own editorial judgment before publishing or acting on a report.

FreshProof does not replace professional medical, legal, financial, or other specialist advice. We do not promise that every claim will be checked, every source will be available, or every report will finish successfully.

Trial, Pro, and credits

The Trial includes 3 credits once, without a card or monthly refill. Pro costs $20 USD per month and includes 125 credits per paid monthly billing period. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout. Pro renews automatically until canceled.

One new report of 1–2,000 words uses one credit. Empty or oversized submissions are not accepted and use no credit. A deliberately requested new report uses another credit, including a new submission after a failed report. Opening or resuming the same unfinished report does not create a new charge.

Credits are reserved when a report starts. A final technical failure releases the report’s credit. Insufficient evidence, an unverified finding, or a completed report with no checkable facts still counts as attempted work and uses one credit. An unfinished report can resume for 72 hours from submission; abandonment without technical errors still uses its reserved credit when that window expires.

Your first successful Pro payment replaces any remaining Trial credits with the Pro allowance. Unused Pro credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. Ending Pro does not restore Trial credits. When credits run out, new reports are blocked; FreshProof does not automatically charge overages. Credits are service allowances, not money or transferable stored value.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Stripe processes payments and provides the customer portal for updating payment details and canceling renewal. Cancel before your next renewal to stop the next recurring charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; the existing allowance remains usable until then, and saved reports remain accessible afterward while the service and your account remain available.

An unsuccessful renewal does not grant new paid credits. Access to saved reports remains available, and you can update payment details or resolve an outstanding invoice. A later successful qualifying payment grants credits for the remaining portion of that billing period.

Cancellation does not automatically issue a cash refund. Contact info@corvolabs.com about mistaken charges, refunds, or disputes; these are reviewed individually. Nothing in these terms limits refund or consumer rights that applicable law requires.

Sharing and service availability

Creating a share link makes the shared report viewable by anyone who obtains the link. You are responsible for deciding whether its contents are suitable to share. Disabling a link does not recall downloaded or copied material.

The service may change or be temporarily unavailable. We may restrict access to address abuse, security problems, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We will publish updated terms and their effective date when terms change. Material changes to pricing or billing terms will be communicated before they apply to a renewal. Contact info@corvolabs.com with questions or to request account closure or deletion; canceling a subscription alone does not request deletion.
